iPOD PERSONAL TRAINER

Wouldn’t you love to have a personal trainer help whip you into shape? But who can afford one? They typically cost over a $1,000 per month and can be hard to fit into your busy lifestyle. Enter Adam’s iPod Workouts. Each workout shows you what exercises to perform, in order and with a proper intensity - all while listening to your own music. Adam’s iPod Workouts consist of images & instructions that you can download to your iPod, iPhone, iPod nano or any MP3 player with a color screen, as well as your computer & can even be printed out. It’s fitness that fits your life. Here are some examples of what you’ll find in the store:

Tennis Fit 1 - Functional Strength Training For Tennis
Beginner Level (NO PRIOR strength training experience, or long lay off)
4 Week At-Home Total Body Blast for tennis players which includes (4) 30 minute simple to do workouts designed to establish tennis strength and stability in all the major muscles groups of the body- legs, chest, back, shoulders, arms, core, abs, and low back. If you are ready to take the first step to better play through better exercise, then try these 4 routines.

Equipment needed: light dumbbells, stability ball, medicine ball (3-4 lb), jump rope

Tennis Fit 2 - Functional Strength Training For Tennis
Intermediate Level (1-2 months prior training)
4 Week At-Home Total Body Blast for tennis players which includes (4) 30 minute workouts for players looking to grow their current tennis strength and stability in all major muscle groups- legs, chest, back, shoulders, arms, core, abs, and low back.

Equipment needed: light dumbbells, stability ball, medicine ball (3-4 lb), jump rope

Tennis Fit 3 - Functional Strength Training For Tennis
Advanced Level (Minimum of 5 months prior strength training)
4 Week At-Home Total Body Blast for tennis players which includes (4) 30 minute workouts to take your strength and stability to another level through mulit-joint, mulit-planar moves which much more closely mimic what you will do on the court.

Equipment needed: light dumbbells, stability ball, medicine ball (3-4lb), jump rope


WORKSHOPS

The purpose of the workshops will be to introduce TenX Fitness and it's concepts for improving tennis performance through improving one's fitness to players and clubs everywhere. Presentations will focus on showcasing a novel, fun way to introduce the process of getting fit to play, to players who are already playing, as well as possibly drawing in new participants- those who love fitness but may not have experienced the health benefits of tennis yet.Learn-By-Doing sessions will allow participants to immediately reinforce acquired knowledge and provide clear support for the fact that TenX Fitness truly is for everyBODY, regardless of fitness or playing levels: weekend warriors (everyday athlete), high school athletes, and/or professionals.

9:00-10:00 Learn-By-Doing: Dynamic Warm-Up, Ladders, Core Stability and Balance
10:00-10:15 Break
10:15-11:00 LECTURE:Functional Resistance Training and All-In-One Workouts with Resistance Bands, Medicine Balls and Body Weight

11:00-12:00 Learn-By-Doing:Resistance Bands, Medicine Balls, Body Weight
  • Partner Exercises and Drills
  • Road Warrior Workout (Bands and Body Weight)
12:00-1:30 Lunch on your own
1:30-2:30 TenX Fitness Workout
Remainder of Afternoon: OPEN FORUM for participants, coaches, trainers
